The Weekly Ringer is always eager to receive letters to the editor and guest columns, and every effort is made to print them. It is preferable that op-eds and letters relate to issues affecting the UMW community.
All submissions should be sent to weeklyringer.eic@gmail.com.
Op-eds should be under 800 words, and letters to the editor should be under 500 words.
In order to be considered for publication, all op-ed submissions and letters to the editor must be submitted the Sunday before publication by 9 p.m.
All submissions will be edited by the editors-at-large for grammatical and AP style corrections. These changes will be highlighted and sent back to the submitter for awareness before the piece is published.
Please include your name, year and email address with your submission. Additionally, if you are writing as a member or representative of a certain club, please include the title and club.
