This Friday, Oct. 23, Giant Productions will be hosting comedian Steve Hofstetter at 8 p.m. in the Great Hall.
Hofstetter hails from Queens, New York and has made notable appearances on VH1’s Countdown and CBS’ Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Hofstetter has also been a writer for Maxim, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated for Kids as well as having his weekly column “Stand Up Guy” run in Sports Illustrated.
As a graduate of Columbia University, Hofstetter brings a definite intellectual edge to his humor that one doesn’t get very often in the realm of stand-up comedy. His sharp, well-informed delivery on topics such as American culture, religion and politics are reminiscent of the intellectual satire of such comedic greats as Bill Hicks and George Carlin.
If you are interested in starting your weekend partying off with a little humor or just want to catch a good comedic act, head on over to the Great Hall for the witty, observational satire of Steve Hofstetter.
