UMW Galleries Hosts Dual Art Shows
1 min readThe UMW Galleries are currently hosting two professional art exhibits through Dec. 4.
“The Object: Found, Multiplied, Manipulated” is currently on display in the Ridderhoff Gallery. The exhibit features a variety of a mediums from painting to ceramics to assemblage pieces that demonstrate the use of object within an artist’s work.
The duPont Gallery is exhibiting “Art Museum Artists: Works by Museum Professionals,” which focuses on artists who navigate dual careers between their work and their job in museums. Mediums range from photography to painting to mixed media.
Both galleries are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
