Police Beat Sept. 7-Sept. 14

Sept. 9– A student reported his backpack missing from Seacobeck Hall.  He left it in the “cubbie area” and when he returned for it he discovered it was missing.  He believes it was mistakenly taken.  The backpack contained books and a calculator.

Sept. 12– A UMW junior was arrested by Fredericksburg police for public intoxication on Rowe Street.
