Police Beat: March 8- March 13

March 8- At 1:50 p.m, university police responded to reports of an accident including an automobile and a bike at Sunken Road and Back Drive. The case is closed.

March 9- Campus police responded to reports of trespassing between the hours of 1:49 a.m. and 4:12 a.m. in Eagle Landing. Two trespass notices were issued to non-university individuals.

March 9- University police responded to reports of a hit and run that occurred sometime between March 7 and March 9 at 1014 William St. The car had significant damage. The investigation is pending.

March 9- Campus police responded at 8:30 p.m. to Seacobeck Hall, where there were reports of assault and battery and workplace violence between two Sodexho employees. The investigation is pending.

March 10- Campus police responded to reports of hit and run and property damage to an automobile at the University Tennis Center parking lot between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The investigation is pending.

March 11- At 12:30 p.m., police responded to reports of petit larceny from the Washroom in the Woodard Campus Center. The investigation is pending.

March 11- At 6:30 pm., a student reported that she inadvertently dropped her purse in the parking lot of the Pizza Hut on Powhatan Street, and when she returned to retrieve it, some cash and vehicle registration cards had been stolen from it. Fredericksburg police responded. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

March 12- University police responded to the Eagle’s Nest at 12:45 a.m. and apprehended an intoxicated, disorderly student. The student was issued an administrative referral.

March 12- Police responded to the Bell Tower after reports of a hit and run and property damage to an automobile that occurred sometime between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. The investigation is pending.

March 13- Police responded to the Eagle’s Nest at 12:57 a.m. and apprehended a student for drunk in public. The student was issued an administrative referral.

March 13- Campus police responded to 905 Mortimer Ave. at 1:45 a.m. and apprehended a student for drunk in public. The student was issued an administrative referral.

March 13- Police responded to reports of vandalism from Chandler Hall. The date and time of the vandalism are unknown at this time. The investigation is pending.

March 13- University police responded to Brent House at 4:10 a.m., where they apprehended two students for being drunk in public. Both students were issued administrative referrals.

March 13- Police responded to Arrington Hall, where there were reports of vandalism occurring between 3:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The investigation is pending.

March 13- Police responded to reports of vandalism at Simpson Library. The time that the vandalism occurred is unknown. The investigation is pending.
