The Graduate Fair will host over 40 graduate and professional schools for prospective students. The fair will be on Thursday, April 4 in the Anderson Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Poetry reading conducted by students
The Department of English, Linguistics and Communication Reading Series will feature students in UMW’s contemporary poetry course reading their own work on Thursday, April 4 at 5 p.m.
Relay for Life continues to raise money for cancer reasearch
UMW will host Relay for Life in partnership with the American Cancer Society on Saturday, April 6. The event will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday evening and end Sunday at 7 a.m. Registration information is available on the Relay for Life website.
Great Lives Lecture features founder of Alcoholics Anonymous
The Chappell Great Lives Lecture Series will feature Susan Cheever presenting on Bill Willson, founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. Cheever is the author of “My Name is Bill: Bill Wilson-His Life and the Creation of Alcoholics Anonymous.” The event is Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Dodd Auditorium.
