The fall semester is in full swing, and most people are already stressed. Papers and group projects are piling up, not to mention the many clubs and sports you are in, right?
The first few weeks of the semester are crucial and can set the pace for the next three months. Get organized early and never miss a deadline or grade. Take your agenda out and start using it!  Next, get yourself to Hobby Lobby and gather supplies to make this great interactive weekly planner that can keep all your homework and activities in line!

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • large corkboard
  • ribbon or decorative tape (duct tape works great!)
  • tacks
  • hot glue gun
  • hot glue sticks
  • large decorative letters
  • decorations (optional)

In order to create the calendar, first place the scrapbook letters on the corkboard, spacing them out for each day of the week.
Then create a border around each day of the week using the ribbon and hot glue or tape.
Use the tacks to “decorate” your calendar with projects and activities.
Congratulations! You have just created an easy organizational tool to keep yourself in check!  Be creative and have fun, and place it somewhere you will look everyday. It will help keep you current with the day’s activities, not to mention the wonderful décor it will bring to your dorm, making it feel less like a dorm and more like a home.
