Two separate shoplifting incidents occurred on Oct. 21 on the 1200 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. One incident occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m. and the other around 9:00 p.m. Both cases are pending.

Theft

Two separate shoplifting incidents occurred on Oct. 21 on the 1200 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. One incident occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m. and the other around 9:00 p.m. Both cases are pending.

A bike was stolen from Framar House on Oct. 21 around midnight. The case is pending.

A bike was stolen from Arrington Hall on Oct. 21 between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The case is pending.

Between noon and 5 p.m. on Oct. 21, petit larceny was committed at Melchers Hall. The case is pending.

A bicycle was stolen from Brent Hall on Oct. 22. The case is pending.

There was a case of petit larceny in Goolrick Hall on Oct. 25 between 6 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The case is pending.

There was a case of grand larceny from the basketball court near Bushnell Hall on Oct. 26. The case is pending.

A bike was stolen from Virginia Hall on Oct. 27 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The case is pending.

Trespassing

There was a case of unlawful entry on Oct. 21 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Sunken Rd. The case is pending.

Marijuana

On Oct. 21 at approximately 9 p.m., UMW police encountered a case involving the possession of marijuana in Russell Hall. The case is pending.  Another incident with the possession of marijuana occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. There was one administrative referral issued.

Violence

On Oct. 23, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., there was an incident of assault and battery on Alvey Drive. The case is closed due to declined prosecution.

On Oct. 27, around midnight, there was a case of assault and battery at Bushnell Hall. The cased is closed due to declined prosecution.

Liquor Law Violations

There was one arrest in Eagle Landing after UMW police addressed a case of public intoxication on Oct. 26 around midnight.
