Spring 2014 Career Day Corporations, federal and state government offices and non-profit organizations looking to fill full-time and internship positions will be in the Anderson Center on Thursday, March 20 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students should dress in business professional attire and bring copies of their resumes with them to the fair.

Thursday Poem Series
There will be a free bilingual poetry reading by Ana Chichester, professor of modern foreign languages and Connie Smith, professor of English, linguistics and communication. They will do a reading of Argentine poet Olga Orozco in Combs Hall, Room 139 on Thursday, March 20 at 5 p.m.

Purple Out Concert
Goody and Save the Arcadian will be performing as part of Relay Awareness Week from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20 on Ball Circle. The concert is free.

Mary Washicon
The Mary Washicon convention will be on Saturday, March 22 from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. in Monroe Hall. Events include anime, cartoons, cosplay, video Games, comicsd and more. There will be panel lectures by students and professors, tournaments for NES Remix and Dance Dance Revolution, a cosplay contest, a Pokemon league competition, an artist’s alley to view and buy artwork, a tabletop RPG room, anime and cartoon showings, a video game room and free food.
