Divest UMW came together yesterday to kick off what they’re calling a ‘100 Days of Action’ campaign. The student group dropped banners on the Lee Hall balcony to mark the first day of action in raising awareness for the divestment of fossil fuels. Students urged the administration to take a stance against fossil fuel investments and move toward more environmentally friendly renewable resources. The students chanted, “We are unstoppable. Another world is possible.”
