Playlist Plugged In: songs to help you focus
1 min readBy DELLA HETHCOX
Feeling a bit panicky about the last few weeks of the semester? Here are a dozen songs that will help you refocus on your studies and group projects during these crazy weeks. These songs will help you stay calm whether you are waiting in line at Blackstone for that fifth espresso or stuck in a study corral at the library. At first glance this might seem like a hipster’s paradise, but give it a chance. Electropop royalty duo Odesza make an appearance as well as a slower jam by The Killers. But, of course, you cannot have a playlist without an a cappella song, which begins the playlist and sets the tone for your study session. Happy listening!
- “Easy Way” (a cappella version) by For the Foxes
- “Backwards” by Merriment
- “She Lit a Fire” by Lord Huron
- “Cold Cold Man” by Saint Motel
- “Say My Name” by Odesza
- “Sky’s Still Blue” by Andrew Belle
- “Fall at Your Feet” by Saint Raymond
- “Satellites” by The Cinema
- “Apartment” by Young the Giant
- “Be Still” by The Killers
- “Emotions” by The Borns
