1 min readMark Snyder, assistant professor of music, had his multimedia work “Messy” performed at North Carolina State University’s Art Now series, which features concerts, lectures and other performing arts events. It was performed on Oct 15 by clarinetist Andrea Cheeseman, associate professor of clarinet at Appalachian State University.
Charles Tate, student success coordinator in the office of academic and career services, was selected for the 2014 class of Leadership Fredericksburg, which brings together participants to learn more about local businesses and government in the Fredericksburg area. Tate is one of 28 members in the nine-month program put on by Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Roberta Gentry, assistant professor in the college of education, presented in the Conference on Education and Evaluation in Beijing, China on Sept. 19 through Sept. 23. Presentations at this conference were related to research relevant to special education.
