Larceny

A petite larceny occurred on Jan. 15 when a sweater was stolen around 3 p.m. in Eagle Landing. The sweater was returned on Feb. 25 at 11:30 a.m. when a student was found wearing it.

Grand Larceny occurred at the Convergence Center construction site on Feb. 18 around 11 a.m. An impact drill was stolen from a construction worker’s toolbox. The case is pending.

An iPhone was stolen from the George Washington Parking Lot two some time between Feb. 25 and Feb. 26. The grand larceny occurred between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. The iPhone was found in the UMW Police Department lost and found on March 3.

Violation

A protective order was violated on Feb. 25 around 10 a.m. A staff member, who has a protective order against an individual, received a phone call from said individual. The call was received in George Washington Hall. The victim obtained a warrant and a UMW Police Department officer served it at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
