The conference, titled “Facilitating Failure: The Exploration of Student Failure and the Journey of Success Management,” will explore student failure in student affairs and academic advising.

director of graduate admissions, served as a guest speaker at Bridgewater College’s panel on graduate admissions. The panelists discussed and answered questions on graduate school preparation, including the application process, selecting the correct program and current trends in graduate admissions.

professor of political science and director of the Center for Leadership and Media Studies, authored an opinion column in the Free-Lance Star based on his new co-authored book, “The Global President: International Media and the U.S. Government.” Farnsworth was also interviewed by notable media outlets on the recent government shutdown.
Roxann Rowley,
adjunct instructor of theatre and dance, will be contribute choreography in the VelocityDC Dance Festival on Oct. 11. The performance will be held on the main stage in Sydney Harman Hall in Washington, D.C.
April Greenan,
assistant professor of Music, delivered the John F. Anderson Memorial Lecture in Medicine and Society at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. The lecture was titled “Music as Medicine: How 21st Century Physicians Can Apply Music to Comprehensive Patient Care.”
Antonio Barrenechea,
associate professor of english, recently led the panel, “All-American Literature,” along with “Ideas of the Decade,” hosted by Pennsylvannia State University.
